SIZING: Head circumference, small (18”, 45.5cm), medium (20”, 50.5cm), large (22”, 56cm), & extra large (24”, 61cm). [S (M, L, XL)]

MATERIALS:
•Cascade 220 (100% wool): 3.5 oz (100 g)/ 220 yds (201 m) MC #2414, CC #9464B
•US size 10 (6 mm) 16” circular needles
•US size 10 (6 mm) dpn set
•Darning needle
•Matching thread
•Sewing needle

GAUGE: Because of felting, the hat should come out approximately one third larger than desired for the finished product. Felting is not an exact science. Approximate gauge: 3.5 sts & 4 rnds to the inch before felting.
This hat was inspired by the beautiful colors of the Madrona tree. The band is knit, assembled, and attached after felting the hat, providing a nice mix of textures. Instructions include sizing for adult small, medium, large and extra large and uses up to 220 yards of the main color and approximately 50 yards of the contrast color.
