| The lace pattern reminds me of a branch eddying ‘round stones on its merry way. I chose to name these socks after a branch that ran behind my grandparents’ home in Chambers County, Alabama. The site of many Easter Egg hunts and summertime play, its memory makes me happy, just like these socks. Knit them in the round on two circular needles or 5 dpn with a classic round heel and grafted toe. | ||||||
